Under Armor or Under Armour

Why is that the Under Armour company chose this spelling instead of the spell checker way Under Armor.  Either way really does not matter.  It is just I guess common that people spell it under armor and not the companies way of under armour.  But I guess the Under Armour company decided to spell it Under Amour to set their brand apart from others.
